Maroof — Luxury · Leather Goods case study by BRIXS Media
A direct-to-consumer e-commerce build for a Mumbai leather house manufacturing full-grain handbags, backpacks, wallets, belts, and travel goods on the city's historic Pakmodia Street leather quarter. Built to carry an artisanal, "made to be lived in" story across Women, Men, Travel, and Work collections.
The challenge
Maroof competes against both fast-fashion accessories and legacy luxury houses — a brand needs to justify its price through visible craft, not marketing noise. The site had to make hand-cut panels, solid hardware, and natural-oil finishing feel tangible online, while organising a wide, multi-category catalog cleanly.
What we built
We built a Next.js storefront organised into Women, Men, Travel, and Work collections, leading with the manufacturing story and material quality rather than discounting. Complimentary India-wide shipping, a one-year warranty with repair service, and a "MAROOF Circle" newsletter capture reinforce a considered, long-term relationship over one-off purchase.
Scope
- Women, Men, Travel & Work collections
- Craftsmanship & manufacturing story pages
- One-year warranty & repair service messaging
- Complimentary India-wide shipping
- Newsletter capture & customer testimonials
- Premium, mobile-first responsive build
